Magpul's original intent was to design a simple device to aid in the manipulation of rifle magazines while reloading under stress. The company's name is the same as their first product. Positive detents keep the sight locked at a standard AR sight height when deployed, and is unnoticeable when locked down. The narrow width front is compatible with most IR aiming laser and light installations, allowing more customization flexibility than fixed sights. The MBUS Pro Flip-Up Front Sight features a finger-adjustable elevation knob on the front sight post, eliminating the need for an additional front sight tool. Corrosion-resistant, all-steel backup sighting solution delivers reliable functionality and high strength with minimum bulk. This flip-up front sight is compatible with all Picatinny rail mounting applications, including rail-height gas blocks.
